PRESS RELEASE / OCTOBER 17, 2026

Independent website presents court records in Crown Winnipeg dealership payment dispute

October 17, 2026 — A dedicated case-report website at https://www.crownautogroupwinnipeg.ca brings together supplied court documents and correspondence concerning a commercial payment dispute between VTB Vancouver Television Broadcasting Corporation and six corporate defendants associated in VTB’s claim with Crown dealerships in Winnipeg.

The site presents a signed default order dated October 13, 2026, in Richmond Provincial Court of British Columbia Small Claims file 31970. The order records $16,084.82, including the principal claim, expenses, interest and filing fee. It records default for failure to file a Reply and proof of service; it does not contain a reasoned, contested determination of the underlying email dispute.

A supplied signed and stamped garnishing order of the same date names Bank of Montreal as garnishee and shows $16,265.82, including $181 in attachment costs. The document alone does not establish service, money paid into court or recovery by VTB.

VTB reports that the judgment remained unpaid as of October 17, 2026. That payment report has not been independently verified, and the website does not claim to establish the current status of any challenge, stay or set-aside application.

The Notice of Claim associates the six corporate defendants with Winnipeg Honda, Crown Toyota, Crown Acura, Crown Mazda, Crown Nissan and Crown Honda. The website explains those associations and distinguishes the dealership trade names from the corporations named in the order. Crown Autobody & Glass appears as network and service-agreement context, not as a separately named judgment debtor.

The correspondence section examines Dhiya Dilawri’s August 7 notice of a 30-day termination period, later discussions of an earlier finish, her conditional offer to continue through September 7, VTB’s response about access and payment, and the subsequent stated August 17 cutoff. The supplied judgment names companies, not Dhiya personally.

The website was prepared at the claimant’s request. It is a separate case-report website, not Crown Auto Group’s official website and not Vancouver Television’s corporate website. It distinguishes pleaded allegations, documented orders, claimant updates and editorial opinion. Selected personal details are redacted from document copies.
